Cantering up to the "Grave Yard", Luna carefully watched were she went. She made sure not to desturb the mounds of dirt on the ground that held other's loved ones. Not many Equine believed in spirits of others, but she did, and she didn't want to disturb their slumbers.
Passing several mounds she approached one that she believed to be her father's grave. Horses weren't at all "wonderous diggers" so bones and other body parts were sometimes visable. Every once and a while Iris would visit her father's mound and kick dirt to add more to it, maybe even place some plants on it too. Although her mother was not burried, she had created a mound for her, to sybolize her death. Her mother's mound stood to the right of her father's.
Bowing her neck in respect, she slowly kneeled down before the two mounds. "Mother....Father..." She said softly, "I hope everything is ok....in heaven. I know you are probably having a wonderful time. I'm still alone, and have not joined a herd..... Talk to me, give me a sign, enter my mind...something...." She began to lie down a bit, leaning on both front legs. "I have heard of a herd for loners...... Anyway, I miss you guys, and I promise I'll continue to visit no matter what." A lone tear rolled down the left side of her face and landed on her father's grave.

Moonstone watched the sad scene from the sidelines, but now he stepped forwards. "Why so upset dear?" He asked her gently. "There is indeed a herd for loners." Moonstone felt generally oblidged to help this pretty mare, as she looked so helpless and so very misunderstanding of the dangers of life. He had his own land, it was light, and it was wonderfully lush and green. Indeed he had no mares at all, for he had just claimed his terra. Moonstone saw the tear slide down the Fae's face, and stepped forward again. "Are you hurt?" He asked softly.

Shocked, Luna's ears perked up and she turned to face the stranger. Who is he? She thought. Is he trying to be nice or something....
"Thanks for your hospitality...." She began, "But I don't really need any of your concern. I'm fine, thank you." She said stubbornly as she got back on all fours. She didn't mean it to sound rude, but she didn't want nobody's pitty. I'm old enough to care for myself. Luna thought. Her mind instently went back to the Stallion's second comment. A herd for loners.... I didn't think it was true. Wait...but now that I think about it, loners are well, suppose to be a lone. "Hmm.... that's odd." She thought aloud.

"It's not my concern that will protect you, you must be careful here fae." Moonstone retorted. "Pity is good in doses, but i havr NEVER in my life felt sorry for another. Not even if i tried, i could not feel sorry for you." He spoke in softer tones now. "There is a herd for loners, i take it that you wish to join it."
